Millets

Very easy-to-use eCommerce site, good use of SIFr as well (don’t see that in a lot of eCommerce sites). Navigation is very usable. There are however, some Firefox browser issues on a few pages.

American Greetings

Great looking site! Very easy to navigate and use the advanced features such as creating cards. A lot of detail put into the clean design.

Brooks Brothers

A very classy site, you know from the beginning that you’re getting a luxury brand. Every additional product color can easily be seen by clicking on the thumbnail, and they keep you on the product page when you add to your cart.

Eddie Bauer

I definitely love the colors, they work very well together. My favorite thing about this site is the subcategories. Typically I think that categories/subcategories should be on the left, especially with so many, but here they fit perfectly at the top. Definitely not obtrusive and still very usable.

Tiger of Sweden

You’ve got to love that Swedish design. So simple and minimalistic. It’s like the craigslist of eCommerce…well, with way more style.

Ikea

Ikea has a lot of products. A lot of products usually means you’re going to have to start using that search button… but not here! All of the categories are a click away, and it’s easy to dig in deeper. Beautiful, simple site.

First 4 Figures

The gamer theme is great and definitely hits the right demographic. I love all of the product images as well (which is often overlooked). Every angle you want, no doubts as to what your getting.

StoneTire

No detail left unstyled. The site is really amazing, and the call to actions are still clear. I do wish that they had their own Shopping Cart vs. just using PayPal, but this is certainly the best designed site out there using a PayPal shopping cart.

Kansas City Steaks

Great subtle uses of iconography and I really like the custom Javascript popups, the site definitely goes above and beyond in some areas. My only big problem is the table-based layout.

Abercrombie & Fitch

They make great use out of the mini cart and their upsell/related products. Site is very clean and I really like how the subcategories are always available at the top. You’re not clicking through 100 things to find the product you want.

CafePress.com

Definitely a lot in place to make sure customers know where to go next and know why they should go there. Something about this site screams _key to conversion_. All of the elements seem very well thought out.

Kohl’s

Some great elements in place to up average order size and the call to actions are very clear. One thing I did see was that the checkout process is a bit daunting, but all-in-all a great site.

Threadless

Clearly the community is what makes this site so great. Even though sometimes the calls to action aren’t as clear as they could be…I bet it doesn’t even phase the conversion *that* much. They’re unique and you expect things to be different.

Delight.com

Very cool daily special feature. I also love the clean layout! Though I do worry that the categories on the right sidebar should actually be moved over to the left for usability. Having them on the right is definitely different, but then again, I’m sure that’s what they were going for.

K&L Wine Merchants

You can definitely tell that K&L invested in the customer experience, this really shows in the taxonomy of the site; it’s very easy to find wines whether you’re looking by variety, country, price, year, etc. Not only that but the site looks great!

Overstock.com

I love how the homepage looks like a search engine…I guess it kind of is. No messing around, straight to the search and the categories. No fancy flash animation, just products!

Shop PBS

I love the large amount of padding in the container, definitely seems like they’ve come across a web trend that’s getting more and more popular. The colors are also very appropriate, definitely not too overbearing.

bulbs.com

The design definitely shines, i just wish that the page background flowed a bit better. The site is very easy to navigation and the search is definitely helpful, especially with such a large number of products.

Mr. McGroovy’s

Great site, unique product. I helped build the it, so I won’t brag any further :) .

Snow Blowers Direct

The colors definitely work for the site and finding the right snow blower is very easy through their shopping funnel.

Barnes & Noble

The design is great. This is the kind of site you can really just hang out at while drinking your raspberry mocha frappuccino.

Palm

The site is nice and clean, very open. There are some _call to action_ elements that are missing, specifically on the product pages but all-in-all a great looking site that’s easy to use.
